Be Cherry


Life isn't always pleasant. We all face difficulties, and it's easy to get angry and bitter when things don't go the way we want.


Many of us lack strong defenses when external events take a negative turn. These events often catch us by surprise, leaving us with no option but to be overwhelmed by them, sometimes causing us to resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms to endure the pain.


When we get hurt emotionally, time can aid in our healing. However, experiencing these inevitable low points in life can diminish our overall ability to enjoy life gracefully. Instead of feeling overly uncomfortable in undesirable situations or letting yourself get powerlessly thrashed around when times get tough, prepare yourself to better handle these situations before they happen.


You can't control what happens to you, but you can control how you react.


Without a guiding philosophy or process, your emotions will naturally take the lead. Think about difficult situations you dealt with in the past. Could you imagine benefiting from treating yourself and others a little bit better if your intense, negative emotions weren't there to hijack your every move?


To help you enjoy your life more deeply and consistently, regardless of what is going on in the world, be and stay cherry.
